As part of the final evaluation of the support project to the Private and Associative Sector of Waste Pre-Collection (FILIPA) in Brazzaville (Congo), carried by the GRET (2014-2019), several videos were produced.
Alexis Oyela is one of the pre-collection operators (OPC) who benefited from the FILIPA project. Thanks to this capacity-building programme, he was able to develop a service which enables him to get into users’ properties to collect their garbage. Contrasting with his young companion who hides his face out of shame for the stigma associated with this activity, Alexis Oyela is dressed in a work uniform, made of protective equipment and he uses a tri-carrier that he was able to acquire thanks to the FILIPA project.
