Is International Aid only a power struggle in the game of International relations or is it still the expression of a more complex social relation?<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The videos of this debate (mostly in French) are available below.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.prospectivecooperation.org\/en\/workshop-2-your-aid-or-your-life-is-international-aid-merely-a-balance-of-power-in-the-game-of-international-relations-or-is-it-still-the-expression-of-a-more-complex-social-relation-marseilles-3\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">&gt;&gt; More information on this workshop-debate<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The first part with the intervention of <strong>Philip ALSTON<\/strong>, United Nations Special Rapporteur on extreme poverty and human rights since 2014, he teaches Law at the Faculty of Law of New York University where he co-manages the Human Rights and Global Justice Chair.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ksTXEAC1tJQ\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The second part with the intervention of <strong>Pr Renaud PIARROUX<\/strong>, Professor of Parasitology-Mycology, Head of the Parasitology-Mycology Department at La Piti\u00e9-Salp\u00eatri\u00e8re (Paris), specialist in infectious and tropical diseases, is recognized worldwide for its expertise in cholera. He is a member of the Global Task Force On Cholera Control (WHO) and advisor to UNICEF and the Ministry of Health and Population (Haiti) on the management of the Cholera epidemic.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Qd2n-qy-M7k\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The third part with the intervention of <strong>Guillaume LACHENAL<\/strong>, Lecturer in History of Sciences at Paris Diderot University. He studies the history and anthropology of biomedicine in Africa. He is coordinator of the MEREAF project \u201cMemories and remnants of medical research in Africa\u201d, an anthropological and archaeological exploration of the ruins and memories associated with the past in African medical institutions.
