Glissant)<\/h6>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/h6>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Initiated between Marseille and Casablanca, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.prospectivecooperation.org\/en\/mediterranean-identities-respect-of-multiple-identities-in-the-mediterranean-public-space-north-south-crossing-looks-on-sexism-and-racism-marseille-rabat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the project &#8220;Mediterranean Identities&#8221;<\/a> aims to create bridges between actors with varied backgrounds and luggage on each of the two territories and between the two shores of the Mediterranean. The challenge is to enable high school students and students to appropriate the tools of debate and reflection, offering them, for a year, to participate in a cycle of consciousness-raising and actions concerning the impact of racist and sexist discriminationson on the construction of a Mediterranean citizenship and a common public space. From the curator of Marseilles&#8217;History Museum, to the fishmonger on the Old Port,\u00a0including the students themselves, the testimonies were collected on identity issues in the Mediterranean. &#8220;<em>Before, when they told me Mediterranean, I was thinking of the sea, of the sun&#8230; I was not thinking of other cities<\/em>,&#8221; says one of the girls.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00ab All different? \u00bb<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.prospectivecooperation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Tous-diff\u00e9rents-e1479223645462.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-4118 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.prospectivecooperation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Tous-diff\u00e9rents-e1479223645462-300x251.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"251\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.prospectivecooperation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Tous-diff\u00e9rents-e1479223645462-300x251.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.prospectivecooperation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Tous-diff\u00e9rents-e1479223645462-768x642.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.prospectivecooperation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Tous-diff\u00e9rents-e1479223645462-600x502.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.prospectivecooperation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Tous-diff\u00e9rents-e1479223645462-672x562.jpg 672w, https:\/\/www.prospectivecooperation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Tous-diff\u00e9rents-e1479223645462.jpg 905w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>For their part, the students of the \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/allsh.univ-amu.fr\/llc\/master\/ai\">L.E.A Master<\/a>\u00a0of Aix-en-Provence, mobilized teenagers of the\u00a0Airbel housing estate (13011) in collaboration with the association <a href=\"http:\/\/afevmarseille.wixsite.com\/afev\">AFEV<\/a>, as well as a class of CE1 of the school Jean Moulin II in S\u00e9nas (13560). The cycle of consciousness-raising and reflection, focused on discrimination, spread over several months and gave rise to the documentary &#8220;<strong>Tous M\u00e9diterriens<\/strong>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;<em>My physical belonging plays tricks on me. My ethnicity plays tricks on me. My religious affiliation plays tricks on me. Am I condemned forever?<\/em>&#8220;. It was during a <strong>poem competition<\/strong>,\u00a0organized by the AFEV that inspired participants wrote several texts expressing their feelings about sexist and racist discriminations that they experience everyday. Arranged and set to music, these texts were collected during an event organized by the students of the L.E.A Master at the Villa M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e on the 25th of June .<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">North-South crossed\u00a0views<\/h3>\n<div class=\"article_image\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.letamis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/IUHM.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1571 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.letamis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/IUHM.jpg\" alt=\"iuhm\" width=\"397\" height=\"297\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The project spans the other side of the Mediterranean where volunteers from the Association\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Association-Initiative-Urbaine-102754409816012\/?fref=ts\">Urban Initiative<\/a>\u00a0are taking action. This neighbourhood association, located in the municipality of Hay Mohammedi in Casablanca, provides young people with a <strong>space of personal development, academic support and citizen expression<\/strong>. The students go there to take tutoring classes, and as years pass, they become volunteers and end up giving the class to the youngest. The association has been seizing the Identit\u00e9s M\u00e9diterran\u00e9ennes project for a few weeks and is currently developing operations to investigate the impact of sexist and racist discrimination in their neighbourhoods and in their cities. Micro-sidewalks, round tables and slam competitions, among other initiatives, will soon be at work in the streets of Casablanca.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\"><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\">The week of International Solidarity<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In Marseilles, Le Tamis organizes, within the framework of the <a href=\"http:\/\/lasemaine.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Week of International Solidarity<\/a>, workshops on identity. These workshops,\u00a0related to\u00a0the Tamis&#8217;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.letamis.org\/travaux\/chevauchees\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Rideways<\/a>, invite to collectively explore the social imaginary and to analyze the forms of interactions between the knowledge and the imaginary mobilized. On Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th of November 2016, two artists and anthropologists, Annalisa Lollo and Laura Spica, lead a group of young residents of the Young Workers&#8217; Home <a href=\"http:\/\/aajt.asso.fr\/\">AAJT<\/a>\u00a0the <strong>Muse-Me workshop<\/strong>. Designed as a workshop for artistic creation, it invites participants to create crossed portraits, thanks to collages made from various materials. The superimposition of images and patterns evokes the construction of identity through time and space. This activity takes place in a public square and invites passers-by to answer a question, written down in a visible way. It will be about questioning the perceptions, representations and imaginations of the passers-by, on the notions of identity, otherness, belonging and mobility, to gather their testimonies and to highlight them. It will be led by anthropologists Julia Henin and Alessandra Stefani.<\/p>\n<div class=\"article_image\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0Les identit\u00e9s multiples, individuelles et collectives, structurent les relations, entre les personnes, les groupes et les pays de la M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e. Elles se d\u00e9veloppent en continu, emportant avec elles ce qu\u2019elles s\u00e9lectionnent tout au long de leurs parcours. Interroger ce qui nous constitue et prendre conscience de la diversit\u00e9 des univers auxquels nous appartenons, dans le but de favoriser le dialogue, la compr\u00e9hension mutuelle et d\u2019ouvrir un espace public m\u00e9diterran\u00e9en, voil\u00e0 les objectifs que se propose de r\u00e9aliser le projet Identit\u00e9s M\u00e9diterran\u00e9ennes, qui se cl\u00f4ture le 31 d\u00e9cembre 2016.<\/div>\n<div class=\"article_image\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"article_image\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Multiple identities, both individual and collective, structure relations between people, groups and countries of the Mediterranean. They develop continuously, carrying with them what they select throughout their journeys.
