open=&#8221;true&#8221; icon=&#8221;angle-up&#8221; icon_closed=&#8221;angle-down&#8221; icon_position=&#8221;to-right&#8221; el_id=&#8221;1512382304180-30a115ff-8d4b&#8221;]<a href=\"http:\/\/www.prospectivecooperation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/alain_leplaideur-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2667 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.prospectivecooperation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/alain_leplaideur-1.png\" alt=\"alain_leplaideur\" width=\"160\" height=\"211\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.prospectivecooperation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/alain_leplaideur-1.png 160w, https:\/\/www.prospectivecooperation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/alain_leplaideur-1-480x633.png 480w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 160px) 100vw, 160px\" \/><\/a>ALAIN LE PLAIDEUR.\u00a0Agricultural engineer and Doctor in Rural Economy, Alain Leplaideur lives an active retirement: <strong>former member of the Scientific Committee of Action contre la Faim<\/strong>\u00a0and <strong>President of the CARI association<\/strong> which works in oases and arid regions.<\/p>\n<p>After a career as a <strong>senior researcher at CIRAD<\/strong>, on agrarian systems and trade in local products, he joined the <strong>Ministry of Foreign Affairs<\/strong> to deal with issues of biodiversity, environmental research and sustainable development as a whole, in tropical areas where the ministry conducts projects.<\/p>\n<p>Then, <strong>director of research at IRD<\/strong>, he took the lead for one of its five departments, the Department of Support and Training of Southern Scientists, where he used\u00a0research management techniques to promote teams of African, Latin American and Asian researchers.<\/p>\n<p>He has been <strong>President of Prospective and Cooperation<\/strong> from 2014 to 2016.[\/vc_toggle]<\/p>\n<p>[vc_toggle title=&#8221;Sophie Beau&#8221; open=&#8221;true&#8221; icon=&#8221;angle-up&#8221; icon_closed=&#8221;angle-down&#8221; icon_position=&#8221;to-right&#8221;]<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1296\" src=\"http:\/\/www.prospectivecooperation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Sophie_beau.jpg\" alt=\"Sophie Beau\" width=\"159\" height=\"203\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.prospectivecooperation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Sophie_beau.jpg 159w, https:\/\/www.prospectivecooperation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Sophie_beau-480x612.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 159px) 100vw, 159px\" \/>SOPHIE BEAU is\u00a0<strong>Founder and director<\/strong> of the humanitarian organisation <strong>SOS M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>She founded Alis\u00e9s Conseil (a health and social engineering consulting company) and was an Associate Director in Prospective &amp; Cooperation.\u00a0She then specialised in project management, strategic counselling and empowerment methods in the social and humanitarian fields.<\/p>\n<p>With a background in <strong>Anthropology<\/strong> and <strong>Political Science<\/strong>, she managed health programmes for <strong>M\u00e9decins Sans Fronti\u00e8res<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>M\u00e9decins du Monde<\/strong> (in Europe, West Africa, Asia, Middle East, and Caucasus) and was the former director of a rehabilitation centre for the social reintegration in France (F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Nationale des Associations d\u2019Accueil et de R\u00e9insertion Sociale, Provence Alpes C\u00f4te d\u2019Azur \u2013 Corsica \u2013 Overseas Departments), and structured the activities of the <strong>CMA CGM Corporate Foundation for children<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>She has gained extensive experience in many areas such as diagnostic studies, planning and programme evaluation, in networking actions and advocacy campaigns.[\/vc_toggle]<\/p>\n<p>[vc_toggle title=&#8221;Vincent Wallaert&#8221; He has worked for thirteen years in the implementation of development projects and the fight against exclusion.<\/p>\n<p>Currently director of the <strong>Acting Against Exclusion Foundation (FACE)<\/strong> of the department of Gard (France), he has been for four years (2008-2012) a cooperation\u00a0attach\u00e9 at the <strong>Embassy of France in Mauritania<\/strong>, in charge of the bilateral cooperation in matters of governance. For two years, he has provided technical and methodological support to <strong>GRET&#8217;s<\/strong> activities in <strong>Senegal.<\/strong> He has also held two management positions in France, coordinator of an association founded by the main networks of solidarity finance, and director of an intercommunal union with a <strong>Local Plan for Integration and Employment (PLIE)<\/strong>.[\/vc_toggle]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here are the former members of the Board of Prospective and Cooperation, who we warmly thank for their contribution.
