He previously held, from 2013 to 2016, the position of\u00a0Head of the Cooperation Unit<\/strong>\u00a0at\u00a0the\u00a0Agency for sustainable Mediterranean Cities and Territories (AVITEM)<\/strong>, while teaching\u00a0territorial economics<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0project management<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0Masters at Aix-Marseille University<\/strong>\u00a0and at\u00a0Science Po Grenoble<\/strong>.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Marc Lescaudron” open=”true” icon=”angle-up” icon_closed=”angle-down” icon_position=”to-right”]\"mMARC LESCAUDRON is currently\u00a0evaluator and trainer<\/strong>\u00a0within\u00a0Prospective & Cooperation<\/em>. He was programme manager of\u00a0abilities reinforcement of local actors in Western Africa<\/strong>,\u00a0in the Mediterranean and in Latin America<\/strong>\u00a0for 14 years. Within this context, he was in charge of feasibility studies, programmes\u2019 conception and supervision.<\/p>\n

He has a D.E.A in International Relations History from Sorbonne and the Universidade Federal da Bahia (Brezil), a Masters\u2019 Degree in\u00a0Organisations of Development\u2019s Sociology<\/strong>\u00a0in the IEDES (Institut d\u2019Etudes du D\u00e9veloppement Economique et Social- Paris I Sorbonne) and a Master’s Degree in\u00a0Humanitarian Action and Law<\/strong>\u00a0from Aix-Marseilles-University, lecturer in the Sorbonne- IEDES and in the Universit\u00e9 d\u2019Aix-Marseille since, he practices the principles of the\u00a0active pedagogy<\/strong>\u00a0and masters the tools of the\u00a0participative institutional analysis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Finally, he sponsored and led\u00a0evaluations<\/strong>\u00a0for several ONG and international organisations in Africa, in the Mediterranean and Asia.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Jean Gaudart” open=”true” icon=”angle-up” icon_closed=”angle-down” icon_position=”to-right” el_id=”1513679480043-8e73e5eb-a9ef”]\"Jean<\/a><\/strong>JEAN GAUDART\u00a0is a\u00a0doctor,<\/strong>\u00a0specialist in\u00a0Public Health<\/strong>\u00a0and Professor in\u00a0Biostatistics.<\/strong>\u00a0His research focuses on analyzing the spatio-temporal dynamics of\u00a0epidemics,<\/strong>\u00a0particularly\u00a0malaria<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0cholera.<\/strong>\u00a0In particular, he developed mathematical models to assess the relationship between transmission, especially malaria, and various factors such as the environment, economic behaviour and mobility.<\/p>\n

He has been working closely for about 16 years with the\u00a0Malaria Research and Training Centre (MRTC)<\/strong>\u00a0in Bamako, Mali (Pr Ogobara Doumbo), and he currently leads the\u00a0Epidemic Dynamics and Territory research axis within the UMR912<\/strong>. He is also responsible for a\u00a0Master’s degree<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0Public Health, Societies, Developments<\/strong>\u00a0(Aix Marseille University<\/strong>, distance learning), with nearly 60 students per year, and is a PhD supervisor for doctoral students from many countries (Mali , Burkina Faso, Senegal, Togo), in collaboration with local research partners.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Elisabeth Dorier” open=”true” icon=”angle-up” icon_closed=”angle-down” icon_position=”to-right”]<\/p>\n

ELISABETH DORIER is a geographer,<\/strong> professor at Aix-Marseille University, researcher at the LPED<\/strong> (Population Environment Development), specialised in urban socio-environmental approaches<\/strong>, former member of the IUF<\/strong> (Institut Universitaire de France).<\/p>\n

After a PhD on Brazzaville, “Environment and health in Brazzaville, Congo: from urban ecology to social geography<\/strong>“, she gets qualified to become a professor with a work on “Urban societies and environment in African cities<\/strong>” where she mobilizes her work on urban governance in Benin, Congo and Mali<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

From 2011 to 2020, as part of a partnership with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Humanitarian Action, the AfDB<\/strong> and the AFD,<\/strong> she conducted a series of sectoral and territorial diagnoses<\/strong> based on direct surveys<\/strong> in the areas most affected by the wars in Congo Brazzaville<\/strong>, before piloting studies on territorial poverty<\/strong> in this country.<\/p>\n

In Marseilles,<\/strong> where she lives, following the same methodology that combines field research and statistical mapping<\/strong>, she has been involved since 2018, in connection with the Abb\u00e9 Pierre foundation<\/strong> and the HCLPD<\/strong> (High Committee for the Housing of Disadvantaged Persons), in the construction of a GIS<\/strong> and a cartographic follow-up of the issues of poor housing<\/strong>, emergency evacuations<\/strong> and social housing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
