[vc_row][vc_column][vc_toggle title=”President: Jean Gaudart” open=”true” icon=”angle-up” icon_closed=”angle-down” icon_position=”to-right”]\"Jean<\/a><\/strong>JEAN GAUDART\u00a0is a doctor,<\/strong> specialist in Public Health<\/strong> and Professor in Biostatistics.<\/strong> His research focuses on analyzing the spatio-temporal dynamics of epidemics,<\/strong> particularly malaria<\/strong> and cholera.<\/strong> In particular, he developed mathematical models to assess the relationship between transmission, especially malaria, and various factors such as the environment, economic behaviour and mobility.<\/p>\n

He has been working closely for about 16 years with the Malaria Research and Training Centre (MRTC)<\/strong> in Bamako, Mali (Pr Ogobara Doumbo), and he currently leads the Epidemic Dynamics and Territory research axis within the UMR912<\/strong>. He is also responsible for a Master’s degree<\/strong> in Public Health, Societies, Developments<\/strong> (Aix Marseille University<\/strong>, distance learning), with nearly 60 students per year, and is a PhD supervisor for doctoral students from many countries (Mali , Burkina Faso, Senegal, Togo), in collaboration with local research partners.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Director of college co-operators: Marc Lescaudron” open=”true” icon=”angle-up” icon_closed=”angle-down” icon_position=”to-right”]\"m<\/p>\n

MARC LESCAUDRON is currently evaluator and trainer<\/strong> within Prospective & Cooperation<\/em>. He managed capacity building programmes for local actors in Western Africa<\/strong>, in the Mediterranean and in Latin America<\/strong> during 14 years. Within this context, he was in charge of feasibility studies, programmes\u2019 conception and supervision.<\/p>\n

He has a Masters\u2019 Degree in International Relations History<\/strong> from the Sorbonne and the Universidade Federal da Bahia (Brazil), a Masters\u2019 Degree in Organisations of Development\u2019s Sociology<\/strong> from the IEDES (Institute for the Study of Economic and Social Development of the University of Paris 1 Sorbonne) and a Master’s Degree in\u00a0Humanitarian Action and Law<\/strong>\u00a0from Aix-Marseilles-University.<\/p>\n

He is a lecturer<\/strong> in Project Management and evaluation<\/strong> at Aix-Marseilles University (2009-2020), at Politics studies Institute of Grenoble (2014-2020) and at the Sorbonne- IEDES (2007-2016).<\/p>\n

Finally, he sponsored and led evaluations<\/strong> for several NGO (Non-Governmental Organization)\u00a0and international organisations in Africa, in the Mediterranean and Asia.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Administrator: Marie L\u00e9pine” open=”true” icon=”angle-up” icon_closed=”angle-down” icon_position=”to-right” el_id=”1512383953233-68dd67cb-0dec”] \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Marie LEPINE is a doctor,<\/strong> specialist in psychiatry.<\/strong> She has been in charge of the medical management of various pedo-psychiatric<\/strong> structures in the social and medico-social fields. She has also been working on addictions<\/strong> within various care structures, including one in Sfax, Tunisia<\/strong>. She was teaching this subject at the Faculty of Marseilles<\/strong>. She is now practitionner in the same field attached to the Assistance Publique-H\u00f4pitaux de Marseille in prison.\u00a0<\/strong>She practiced as a certifying doctor for requests of “sick foreigner<\/strong>” residence permit for the ARS<\/strong>. She was in charge of the technical reference\u00a0for an action to strengthen national mental health skills in Nouakchott, Mauritania<\/strong>, from 2009 to 2014.[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Administrator: Caroline Bodiou” open=”true” icon=”angle-up” icon_closed=”angle-down” icon_position=”to-right” el_id=”1512383953233-68dd67cb-0dec”] \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Caroline BODIOU is a Human Ressources<\/strong> manager at Aix-Marseille University<\/strong> since 2014 where she is in charge of carrier<\/strong> management and financial<\/strong> management of AMU staff. She was a skills assessment trainer<\/strong> for an audience in career transition.<\/strong> She volunteered for humanitarian associations<\/strong> in France and Nepal. She also worked in commercial companies<\/strong> as financial management and multimedia<\/strong> account manager. She has a master’s degree in business management<\/strong>.\u00a0[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Administrator: B\u00e9n\u00e9dicte Gastineau” open=”true” icon=”angle-up” icon_closed=”angle-down” icon_position=”to-right”]\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

B\u00e9n\u00e9dicte GASTINEAU is a demographer<\/strong> at the Research Institute for Development (IRD<\/strong>). She is a member of the Population Environment Development Laboratory (LPED<\/strong>, Aix-Marseille University \u2013 IRD, UMR 151) that she manages (2018-2023). She teaches<\/strong> demographic analysis within the Masters of Mathematics Applied to Social Sciences<\/strong> at Aix-Marseille University as well as at the Catholic University of Madagascar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Her research mainly focuses on demographic dynamics in rural African areas<\/strong> (Tunisia, Madagascar, Benin) where access to natural resources is constrained. It analyzes changes and permanence in the demographic behavior<\/strong> of households and individuals (fertility, migration, co-residence, etc.) through the prism of gender relations<\/strong> in particular.
